Method of Generating Critical Mass of Relevant User Generated Content for a Social Network by the Creation of an Open Source Micro Social Network Infrastructure By Chris Ryan February 14, 2012 Preliminary Explanation: The lifeblood of any social network is the ability of creating critical mass of users both is size (numbers of users) and in the expression of those users to produce User Generated Content (UGC). Once a network reaches this critical mass, its UGC becomes syndicated through other users broadcasting the content, which in turn creates more content activity and the possibility of the creation and distribution of new UCG. This process creates a domino effect of UGC and activity which becomes self sustainable once critical mass of users and activity is reached (Flash Point or FP). Further as social networking use matures, so will the demands of its user’s functionality, expression and distribution of UCG. This demand is presently being stilled, due to the fact that it is a direct contradiction to the present social networking business models and seen as nothing more than competition and the cannibalization of future advertising revenues. For in the eyes of the present social networks, it members are not the customer, they are the product, and to allow them outside of this construct will in turn implode the present infrastructure and advertising revenue models they presently enjoy. Method of Generating Critical Mass of Relevant User Generated Content for a Social Network by the Creation of an Open Source Micro Social Network Infrastructure (METHOD) lays the foundation to the upcoming evolution of social network users expectations, by empowering them with the ability of creating their own Micro Social Network (MSN) within the sub domain infrastructure of a traditional social network. Unlike traditional social networks of today, a MSN allows the creator, Micro Social Network Creator (MSNC) to; 1. To own via copyright waiver and acceptance of the terms of service (TOS) of membership, all the UCG created and or placed in the individual MSN (including documents, comments, pictures, discussions, analysis, organization, indexes, etc) by its members who join the specific MSN; 2. To own and have permission to market (via email, social network communication, text messaging or other permission based marketing approach agreed upon by the acceptance of the TOS between the MSN and Members) all members who join the individual MSN; 3. The ability for MSN owner to add functionality to their own MSN’s including, stores, shopping cart, maps, auctions, social couponing, crowd source buying incentives, auctions, commerce exchanges, news, etc., all in the purpose of creating a self contained sub domain, Search Engine Optimized (SEO) social commerce portal. Now individuals stakeholder of their own MSN’s, can see a direct return of investment (ROI) resulting in the form of new member acquisition, (lead capture, lead generation) and new sales as a direct result (via built in analytic reports) of producing and broadcasting relevant content. This ROI and open source platform creates the critical self sustaining driver of producing the critical mass of relevant content, needed to stand up and sustain a new social network, otherwise known as a Flash Point (FP). ABBREVIATIONS 1. OSN- Open Source Social Networking Platform, an infrastructure developed particularly to organize, categorize, index, Micro Social Networks. Including providing members of the OSN ability to: manage friend request, read email, see activities streams of the consolidated MSN they belong to as well as standard social networking tools available today. 2. MSN- Micro Social Network, a self contained social network community, consisting of content (photos, documents, videos, stores, actions, events, polls, and other features to foster and encourage members to share and participate in the creation and distribution of User Generated Content. 3. DEB- Dynamic Embed Badge, a feature MSNC have to create dynamic page badge for placement in blog, articles and other third party site for the purpose of generating membership to the particular MSN. 18. CMS- Content Management System, a system designed for the management, and publishing of content on the internet. 19. ANL- Add Newsletter, a feature MSNC have to add a newsletter marketing feature(s) to their created MSN. 20. CAA- Create an Advertisement, feature MSNC have to add to create an advertisement for their MSN within the OSN environment. 21. RC- Relevant Content, contextual similar content to the keywords which could be used to describe your MSN. DESCRIPTION CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS [0001] The present application claims no priority from any provisional, utility or issued patent. FIELD OF INVENTION [0002] This invention relates to a method of allowing individual entities the ability of creating, controlling and having ownership of their members and the user generated content they create by allowing the creation of Micro Social Networks (MSN’s). These MSN’s collectively are organized and indexed (taxonomy) in a social network support infrastructure consisting of the traditional social network utilities (Wall, Profile, Email, Notifications, Etc.). These MSN’s individually have opportunities to create User Generated Content, Activity from such and ability to Broadcast same within the Social Network Utility infrastructure. These MSN’s are commerce driven and through analytic reporting tools can show the stakeholder (MSN owner) a return of investment from the production, and cultivation of contextual keyword relevant content within their MSN. In turn this relevant content becomes a hub for individuals seeking relevancy and research, and thus an engagement (relationship) is created between the two. The MSN’s commits to the production of keyword relevant content, and the member seeking keyword relevant content, joins the MSN in order to have access to current and future keyword relevant content. This relationship is automatically created via a single sign on confirmation and after the members joins the particular MSN, they give it (MSN) via acceptance of the terms of service (TOS) the ability to market to them via multiple communication channels (email, text, etc.). Finally the return of investment (ROI) can be demonstrated directly to the MSN owner, via administrative analytic reports. Now the MSN owner through analytic reporting tools can see a direct Return on Investment (ROI) in the form of member acquisition, as a direct result of producing and broadcasting relevant content within their MSN. This ROI will act as the catalyst in bringing in early adopters in the form of MSN stakeholders, who see the value of producing relevant content. In turn the value created will pave the way for the stakeholders in the MSN’s to produce both the volume and relevant content in a shared social network infrastructure. Combine that with multiple MSN’s producers in a particular social network vertical and the critical mass of content and relevancy needed to sustain a value oriented social network user experience is created. BACKGROUND OF INVENTION [0003] The lifeblood of any social network is the ability of creating critical mass of users both is size (numbers of users) and in the expression of those users to produce user generated content (UGC). Once a network reaches this critical mass, its UGC becomes syndicated through other users broadcasting the content, which in turn creates more content activity and the possibility of the creation and distribution of new UCG. This process creates a domino effect of UGC and activity which becomes self sustainable once critical mass of users and activity (Critical Mass) is reached. [0004] Further as social networking use matures, so will the demands of its user’s functionality, expression and distribution of UCG. [0005] Method of Generating Critical Mass of Relevant User Generated Content for a Social Network by the Creation of an Open Source Micro Social Network Infrastructure (METHOD) lays the foundation to the upcoming evolution of social network users expectations, by empowering them with the ability of creating their own Micro Social Network (MSN) within the sub domain infrastructure of a traditional social network. Unlike traditional social networks of today, a MSN allows the creator (social network user) of the MSN to; 1. The ability for MSN owner to add functionality to their own MSN’s including, stores, shopping cart, maps, auctions, social couponing, crowd source buying incentives, auctions, commerce exchanges, news, etc., all in the purpose of creating a self contained social commerce portal. [0006] Now individuals stakeholder of their own MSN’s, can see a direct return of investment (ROI) resulting in the form of new member acquisition, (lead capture, lead generation) and new sales as a direct result (via built in analytic reports) of producing and broadcasting relevant content. This ROI and open source platform creates the critical self sustaining driver of producing the critical mass of relevant content, needed to stand up and sustain a new social network. DETAILED SUMMARY OF INVENTION DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF CERTAIN EMBODIMENTS [0283] Social networks are an online collection of nodes and ties. Nodes are the individual actors within the networks, and ties are the relationships between the actors. In a traditional social network, users are provided a collection of various ways to interact, such as chat, messaging, email, video, voice chat, file sharing, discussion groups, blogging, etc. Users can further personalize their experience by entering their personal data, such as interests, cultural heritage, geographic location, political ideologies, marital [0284] Method of Generating Critical Mass of Relevant User Generated Content for a Social Network by the Creation of an Open Source Micro Social Network Infrastructure is a method of capturing the critical mass of members for a MSNC as well as all content (UGC) there members produce. [0285] The driver of this is a return on investment (ROI) via an analytic reporting system which will be able to show the MSNC owner engagement/acquisition cost via the production and broadcasting of relevant content. [0286] Relevant Content (RC) is initially created as an article or blog, with a more relevant content available via the Dynamic Embedded Badge (DEB), (see Figure 3-O, 3-O-1, 3-O-2, 3-O-3, and 3-O-4). This serves as a natural contextual news bridge using the article as the broadcasting tool and the DEB as the gateway to recruit new member into the MSN. [0287] MSNC further will see MSN created and owned as valuable property to be kept up with relevant content creation and broadcasting, on the basis that ownership of the MSN includes; 1. Keyword URL Describer, Meta Tagged Content and Ownership of all UGC created on the MSN. This environment supports an ongoing revenue model for the OSN, while also keeping up the “gardens” within the community MSN environment. [0288] The taxonomy of a MSN’s, coincide with best practices for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and as such the MSN in its initial creation, has built in tagging and indexing options, which will allow the relevant keyword content with the MSN to be immediate available via XLM sitemap built within the MSN. [0288] The MSN’s, gives members within the OSN and MSN, the ability to socially rebroadcast the content they find relevant and valuable. This social rebroadcasting is structured with the best practices for Search Engine Optimitization (SEO) and is seen as the future of Search Engine Relevancy. [0289] Content ownership, including UGC is presently owned by the social networks. MSN’s that choose a pay model of membership (recurring revenue model) via the OSN’s TOS own the UGC specific to their MSN created. [0290] Member ownership of pages and other group content is presently owned by the social networks. MSN’s that choose a pay model of membership (recurring revenue model) via the OSN’s TOS own the Members specific to their MSN created. [0291] MSNC who create MSN’s and choose a pay model of membership (recurring revenue model) via the OSN’s TOS own the UGC specific to their MSN created. If the MSN fails to pay, they will trigger a violation of the TOS and ownership of content will revert back to the OSN. [0292] MSNC who create MSN’s and choose a pay model of membership (recurring revenue model) via the OSN’s TOS own the Members (and rights to market to them) specific to their MSN created. If the MSN fails to pay, they will trigger a violation of the TOS and ownership of the Members will revert back to the OSN.
